Great piece! Makes me think of Naval’s idea (I think it was him) about working in seasons, like making films. You spend a few years on a project with a team, then you rest, then you start the next one. Mini-retirements between gates rather than one big one at the end. Probably a healthier model than the marathon we’ve all signed up for.

Very eye opening. I agree and have felt this way more in recent years. I love taking and printing photos. I keep telling my family that memory keeping is so important. Printing the photos and scrapbooking or putting them in my journal and writing helps me slow down and enjoy the everyday “gates.” Thanks for sharing.
